Madrid Airport Train Options

Know Before You Fly

The national railway operates routes into the city center via line C-1 from the “Aeropuerto” stop. Use any Renfe machine to buy a ticket in the station for 2.6 Euro.

The train has five stops and takes 27 minutes start to finish. The train arrives at Terminal four, so if you arrive in any other terminal you will need to take the internal bus. This is a good option if you arrive in T4 and do not have much luggage.

The light rail stops include Chamartin, Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha and Principe Pio. The train runs from 6am to 1:33am every 8 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes early in the morning and late at night.
